Here's the most recent project on my sewing table. I think it looks like sherbet! I am using light and dark variations of the colors in the "doves at the window" pieced block. It is so fun to create! Try it you might get hooked!!
I was inspired by your original quilt and had to draw my own. Taking in to account the "pie effect" I thought it turned out OK and am excited to add it to my "list"...
These beauties were free! I made the ghost from piece by number and all the others are from http://artisania.wordpress.com/free-patterns/. I am finding if I have something to make/do that I cry much less...and then I go to church and it's all over....sigh!! Again all from scraps, yipee even the fabric was free.
This is the sixteen patch for the pumpkin trade. I just picked four colors in varying shades.
Here is what I have been working on when I have five minutes in between laundry or dinner and after putting kids to bed. A little time spent on a little fabric produces great things. The green block in the top left took 3 hours to piece! I spent parts of three days on it...Crazy! They are all hot off the press. Ironing makes them so pretty. I am going to redo the red one. I tried to square up the HST and that was a mistake.
All three blocks are done and I was able to add a little more orange, green, black and white :)
