This Valentine's day will look a little more festive around my home!! I've been wanting to make something just right and up until now have not found anything that just grabbed me for this holiday. My better half and I don't traditionally celebrate this particular holiday, but I don't even notice. It has been fun for the kiddos to see the decorations go up!! I have heard my three year old exclaim, "Oh it so bootifah! you make it mommy!?!" This melts me.

The wall hanging is quilted in scrolling vines with hearts on each end inspired by one of the back fabrics. They are all my original design and I actually took the time to figure out the patterns and write them down. I blanket stitched around each letter on the banner and boy was I ever glad to finish the last 'Y'. I used only scraps to create both of these and that too feels good!
